Hey all,
I'm currently not a Virtual DJ user, but will be after I purchase the American Audio VMS4 which is being packaged with VDJ 6 LE. I've looked on the site and tried to search the forums, but couldn't find what the difference between LE and Pro. I saw that it's recommended to upgrade when using the software professionally, but not sure what functions I'm losing.
Anyone that can tell me the difference, I'd be greatly appreciative.
Thanks!

Try looking at this http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html Also, keep in mind, full Pro users gain access to all of the skins and pluggins developed by the Team and other users. Not to mention the possibility to advance on these forums and, if you advance far enough, to beta test versions of the software before release to the general public. Giving you a chance to work directly with the developers of the software and giving direct feedback while said version is under development.

LE stands for Limited Edtion, so as the name states features and abilities will be limited

Thanks TearEmUp,
I just realized the OEM was the same as LE, guess I should have looked into it further.
Thanks DJ Octavio, I know what LE is, just wasn't sure what features it was limited to.
Looking forward to seeing more of everyone on the boards!

Please open your own new topic rather than bumping an old topic that's almost 3 years old and not really related to your question.
To open your own new topic, please click on the pen and paper icon at the top of the main forum topic list page.
Please also register your Pro serial number to your account http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
If you have not purchased VirtualDJ Pro then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (Especially if you are working DJ and are making money as a result of using it at your gigs.)
If you purchase (Or have purchased) a controller that came with VirtualDJ LE then you can upgrade to the full Pro at a discount (Providing that it's not second hand and has not already been used.)
