Thanks man,
I think your right! Got to go with Windows 7.

Vista gave me nothing but issues. even discovering the device gave me problems
W7 Works well but XP was the best in my experience.

+1

Just upgraded my laptop with a ssd drive and installed W7 aswell but Xp Pro is the best alternative for my latency..

Hi guys I have this same problem with crackling. I am running vista on lappy 4g dual core.

It comes and goes I have changed mixers no joy yet.

Is running XP or win 7 a cure, if so which is better.

Has anyone got any other ideas to stop it. I have vdj 7, using denon 1200 cd decks. I have disabled web cams internet, wifi you name it been there still no joy.

Is it just me... I would like to know the people here that have the Denon DN-S3700 , Do you use them
with timecode or with the midi mode..? I like them better with timecode. I have 3 usb ports on my laptop
in did not want to use a powered usb hub with them. But I would like to know what you all do..?

I use them in MIDI mode with Virtual DJ and when I am using Traktor, I use hybrid mode.

Time code issue. I have my dn-s3700s setup perfectly in midi mode. All the functions work great except the timecode. Both decks play really fast. How do I fix this??? Help please

My setup

Mixer: Vextax PMC 05 Pro III
Audio 4 sound card
2 Dn-S3700's both are set to midi ch 1 & Unit No set all

Hi all,
I'm loving my 3700's but having an issue that you might beable to help me with. After about 15 to 30 minutes one of two things will happen. I'll get a crackling distorted sound on the right deck only, or the left deck will freeze up. I'm using midi with the players as a sound card. It's happend while using the computer as a sound card too. I've followed the thread instructions and scoured the forum for an answer but no luck. I'm using vista 32 4 gigs of ram, It's a new computer! any advice would be so great! Hurry! I'm running out of hair to pull out
Thanks,
Paul
