When it says error in sound driver of core audio
?
The RMX isn't coming on when I start up VDJ either. Everything was fine when I last used it yesterday and I made no changes in set up.
Also, I can move music to virtual platters but it won't start?
Anyone, please help.

Did you setup the Rmx to be the default soundcard for OS X ?
If so, try switching back to the integrated soundcard of the Mac.

Get your Hercules rmx hook up to your mac before booting up the system.

Maybe you didn't change it manually, but something else might have ( a new program you installed, OS X update, etc).
Did you perform basic troubleshooting steps ?
1) Is the Rmx still enumerated correctly by the computer, as described in the following document
http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00351.pdf
2) If everything looks correct, then can you use the Rmx as a soundcard for other applications ( iTunes for example)?
- If it does, and the control panel seesm to be reacting properly, then the problem is elsewhere
- If it doesn't, then try another USB port, then reinstall the driver if necessary
3) If the Rmx seems to be in order, then move on to VDJ
- Does it work when using the integrated soundcard ?
If not, you might want to try reinstalling it
if it does, connect the Rmx and select it as a soundcard.

What exactly happen is irrelevant at the moment.
Did you go through the step I suggested to try to make it work again ?

Hello DJ Ace Cap1,
Not providing the complete details on your configuration divides by 10 the opportunities to solve your problem.
Detailing the configuration is simple (for example: MacBook 5.1 - Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz - 2 GB RAM - Mac OS 10.5.5 - DJ Console Rmx with 1.77 drivers - VirtualDJ Pro 5.2 set with DJ Console Rmx as sound card, EQ on the external inputs enabled.)
If you have Mac OS 10.5.7 or Mac OS 10.5.8, you need the last drivers (currently 2.11 http://ts.hercules.com/download/pub/webupdate/DJCSeries/DJSeriesInstall_2_11.pkg.zip)
