I did not find answer to this in the search.
This compatible songs option has never appeared on my VDJ until the other day.
Then it only appeared once,now it is not shown anymore.
Do you need to make some sort of filter for this or is it part of
the program?

Maybe you deleted the Filter Folder ?

My Filter is: type="audio" and bpmdiff<=2 and keydiff=0

I'm not sure what your talking about?
"This compatible songs option "
as above, you can create a filter that looks for songs that are "close" to what you are currently playing..

or maybe your talking about netsearch/musicgroups?

Can you describe what you saw?

There are 3 filter folders created by default on FRESH CLEAN installs without an existing database.

They are -

Title - Filter
Most Played - top 50 nbplay
Recently Added - top 50 firstseen
Compatible Songs - bpmdiff<=4 and keydiff=0

If you do not have them you can recreate them on your own with the above information.

The songs are automatically added based on the criteria you've set for the filter folder. For example, if you've made a filter folder to include songs from 90-100 bpm, any song in your library between 90 and 100 bpm will automatically appear in the filter folder. You can't drag and drop songs into a filter folder if that's what you're getting at.

Did not know this functionality and already put to work the filter compatible songs ", but would like to improve the filter. Anyone know how do I get the folder contains only songs from the same genre of music that's currently playing?

Compatible Songs - bpmdiff<=4 and keydiff=0

Is there any way to make this (or any) filter folder permanent? My filter folders disappear every time I restart VDJ.

I have all my files sorted by folders.
I have one folder for disco sound, other to 80's, etc etc etc.

The compatible song filter, shows all files from all folders.
Is there a parameter to set it to display or search only in the current folder?
something like : and folder = same
