The simple answer to your question is that if you by second hand it is second hand and illegal by our License Agreement.
If you purchase new then you are the original owner and the only way to be legal. The only way to legally purchase VirtualDJ is online here on our site. Alternatively, you can buy Numark CUE which is distributed through retail and on-line stores.
