Hi guys,
Can anybody give me an idea as to which external soundcard to use with dj software. My internal soundcard is fine I just need a second card to cue and play the other deck.

A 2 stereo channel dedicated DJ card such as Numark DJIO or Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ will give you the best results.

in that case I would recommend getting an external soundcard that can handle all your audio output/input needs..
yes, VDJ can use the internal soundcard on your laptop, but its not ideal, and why wear out the little 1/8" connector on the laptop?
Do you want to connect the headphones directly into the soundcard?

No, I want to connect the headphones to my Numark cd mixer . . .

If your mixer has 3 line input, you might want to consider a sound card with 3 stereo channels output (6 analog output), then you can use the third channel dedicated for the sampler..
Otherwise just about any 2 stereo (4 analog output) soundcard will do fine..
