Since this mixer is connectible to a Computer through the USB port on the mixer, will it recognize the crossfader in Virtual DJ?
If it does that's great. I'd want to get one.

I have a mackie usb mixer that connects the same way yours does, and the VDJ mixer-slider works well with it, however, I use it at i/2 way up most of the time because it'e so damn loud. My laptop audio is set at 1/2 way up too and the little round usb volume control on the mixer itself is only turned 1/4 turn, and any slight movement of that ( knob) makes a big difference in volume. I've been waiting in another post for someone to help explain all that to me too.
You should not need to use a separate sound card as the mixer itself contains an (audio interface) that does the same thing.
