Hi
I have a few unanswered questions and would like to know if anyone using this set up can help me.
1.Are you able to get your 4 beat loop button to work? Mines does not register anything at all when I try to map it.
2.Is there any way that I can get the cue button to work the way it does with the stand alone players. At present if Im playing a tune and stop it using the platter I have to hit the play button and then the cue button to set the cue point. Is there any way I can stop the platter while its playing and just hit the cue button to set a cue point?
3.Has anyone got any recommended setting I can try to see if it helps my platter sensitvity to help when I want to try scratching. At the minut it can get very jittery.
4. Last one...When I hit the sync button to bring the bpm to match the other deck and then find I want to make slight adjustments, the pitch slider doesnt respond unless I take it right to the top or bottom limit. If you get what I mean..
Thanks for the help in advance....

This is normal for all hardware controllers - if the software (On-screen) pitch slider position does not match the hardware slider position, then the hardware slider will be ignored until it is moved to the correct position. This is a safety feature to avoid a sudden jump in pitch, which depending on the amount could be very noticeable to the audience.
If you don't like this feature, then simply change the mapping of the slider in CONFIG -> Mappers from pitch_slider to pitch

Item #1 - Funny thing is it was missed in the definition when I built it ... but it has been corrected and will be in the next version release.
Item #2 - The software expects the track to be in 'pause' mode ... stopping the platter while in play mode does not change the state of the mode to pause - this is why you have to Pause (hit Play/Pause) the track before you can set the cue point.
Item #3 - you have several options with the CDJ2000 ... you have the Jog Adjust on the deck to change the feel of the Jog at the unit (left is more loose, right is more tight) ... I would start with VirtualDJ's Jog Sensitivity at about 80% and use the CDJ's Jog Adjust knob to go from there. Once you find the 'feel' then if you need to change response - make small adjustments in VirtualDJ.
