Topic: Problem with ZIP files

Im very new to MAC. and to VDJ

I cant run any zip files on my mac. I keep getting an error. I read in some blogs that since I used by Karaoke files on my PC, they wont work on my mac. Is there any easy fix?

All files run on the PC version.

Please help.

Do you happen to know what format your karaoke files are in?

In general you should not have too many file type issues, mac will read mp3, wave, gif, jpg, mp4, etc but I am not sure about Zip files.

I'm having the same issue. I ran my library of Karaoke files through Winrar and re-zipped them with normal compression but Virtual DJ Pro only recognizes 5% of my library.
 
try downloading and installing ntfs-3g to read your windows formatted files.i did this on my mac and works perfect.also try change search options in vdj(beside searchbar) to search all file types names genre ect.as your using mac your filepath letter changes i think.you could also try selecting drive within browser and check clean fix after addining to database
