Does anyone know what it would take for me to connect a large flatscreen to my iMac? I want to do video mixing but no point in upgrading VDJ if I can't do that.

Mini dvi/displayport (depends on your iMAC) to VGA/DVI/HDMI check www.amazon.com

The Macbook Pro comes with a short (2") video output convert cord. One end for the Mac the other VGA. Then you need a VGA cord from there to your HD in & you're in biz! Look at your connection options, walk thru radio shack or browse the web & you'll find what you need.

need help, how come when i use a mini dvi to vga adapter videos play and everything works cool, but at this other place where i spin i have to use a mini-dvi to dvi adapter and nothing shows up on screens?

Out of curiosity, have you tried the mini dvi/dvi adapter on another screen or place? If it works, could be something wrong with the wiring at the place you're trying to use it. If it doesn't, could be a bad adapter.

i have 2 mini dvi to dvi adapters and neither work at this place. tried on other screens in the place and no results
