hi,
so heres my current situation:
i have 2 laptops (old gateway and new macpro) and i currently use vdj in clubs here but with my old laptop and use my macpro for music production only... i also have both full serato software/hardware, and an extra maya 44 soundcard.. at clubs i use the serato soundcard with vdj on old laptop.
heres what i want to do:
i want to get rid of the old pc and start using 4 tt's in the clubs off 1 computer (my macbook pro).. so ill have 2 tts running off serato.. and another 2 tt's using vdj through another soundcard.. and all running at once.. i know im nuts
problem:
now i know it all works, ive tried it at home BUT i want a better soundcard then the maya.. price is not an issue but mobility and durability are very important. also, it all has to be mac and vdj compatible, obviously
any suggestions on what sound card to get? any soundcards out there better then serato sl1 box?
thnks

I have the audio 8 sitting in my basement. The few times I used it, I liked it. It is a solid well thought out piece of hardware with great specs. The only reason I moved away from it is that I needed a MIDI mixer to do video.
I have not used the other devices so someone else will need to comment on them.
