I'm thinking of purchasing the full product, however, before i do, i just want to know if it's possible to broadcast through shoutcast using an external mixer, as opposed to using the programs built-in mixer, and how i would go about doing that? I'm currently mixing with an external mixer, but am having problems broadcasting the same way.

Yes!
You can choose differend sources to broadcast from, including de line-in of a soundcard.
Just connect your record-out of your mixer to the line-in of your soundcard. that's all you need.
(and a full version ofcourse ;)
