Just got done with a 5 hour wedding reception using 6.08 with Vista and CDJ 400's. It worked without a hiccup. Got a 6 hour one tomorrow will see how it goes :) And I not using video, just audio.

He knows we know.. which is probably why its extra frustrating for him, as this small "bug" has been around for awhile ;-)

and telling a user to not use master tempo is like telling a user who is having problems with videos "well, dont use videos"..
its NOT a workaround..

their IS a workaround though, somewhere in the forums.. I might have to find it and post it in the wiki.





I did find something. While working w/ a crappy consumer 5.1 sound card (USB), I used AISO4ALL and bumped latency to 1024. For some strange reason, it no longer sounds 'grumpy' while sliding master tempo - and when you recall back to zero. So, what I did was have MT advanced set and scratch set to simple. No leftover snippet b/c scratch is set to simple but MT sounds decent b/c latency set to 1024.

I tried using the Maya's own AISO set to 512 and it sounded grumpy. Set it to 1024 and sounded much better. At least until this bug gets squashed. :)
 
I seem to recall that setting scratch to simple disables VDJ using the advanced MT algorithm...
 
Ah, well that would explain that then. I though I'd found a decent work around by have master tempo set to advanced and scratch set to simple! :(

djjameslake - I have have a working midimap for xone:3d. Send me a PM and I'll send it to you when I get home. The sensitivity is a little high, but it get you started in the right direction.

All of these videos works well in v6.0.4 and in other players/applications but not in 6.0.5, 6.0.7 and not in 6.0.8 as many before me mentioned. I use vdj with NS7 so i want the improvements in v6.0.8 for NS7, but i still want to be able to play my videos. Well back to 6.04 again.



The new version is working fine. I just upgrade my computer from and Hp pavilion dv7 AMD Turion to a Dell Studio Blue Label Series with intel core i5. Virtual Dj is working better than Searato Itch. The team is making a good work. The videos are working perfect and the music too. Hopefully the teamer can get the mic to work. Thanks to the virtual dj teamer for doing a grat job.
 
Thought this update was going to fix all the bugs from the last one. When I press play on my 5500's it sounds like your pushing the platter to start the song.. I think virtual DJ should set up a Refund Page.. I'm Sick of it not working right.
 
...and have you asked for help by starting a forum topic or calling/contacting support?

Most other users are reporting their controllers are fixed...

If you get the latest registry tool from the dl section, then run it with vdj closed, you want to check the box halfway down that motorwheelinstantplay and apply.
That should cure it.
 
thought it was working good untill........I Have 4 dn-s3700's i am only using 2 at a time , a dn-x1700. updated to the new version tested it on 2 players .......player 1 (or deck 1) plays fine if i start player 2(same song) the picth steadly slows down. thought maybe was just the deck. so i switched players it only does it on deck2 tried all 4 players only on deck 2 any help would be great......have serato but they dont have full midi support yet and i dont want to have these players for just a play cue and platter.......please help

I recently purchased one unit of Numark's V7 and am trying to get it to work under windows 7 64-bit with VDJ. I downloaded both the V7 64-bit beta driver v.2.9.9 from Numark's official site and the trial version of VDJ v6.08 (x86) but when launching the program, VDJ fails to recognize the V7. Has anyone had any success running V7 with VDJ?

No, not all videos works perfect. But in v6.0.4 they do as many with me agrees on.

Cheers SBDJ & mp3jrick. cstoll sorted me out a bit, now the pitch is just a problem, when I play a song it sounds like the pitch slider is been moved up and down.
 
Hi Guys

This is the story so far.....

I installed the registry tool and that sorted the start up problem, then I installed memory improve master hopin it would sort out the rest of my problems which are...

1. When I load a play list and start auto-play the song playing skips forward, also if an audio track is playing and the next track is a video the two tracks stop for about 2 sec.

2. When I change the time display everything stops and comes back on.

3. If I change the skins it happens aswell (I Know I won't be changing them anyway)

4. I have my videos linked to the crossfader when I switch over the video freezes.

These are just a few of the thing I've found wrong at the moment so if any one has any ideas please help..

Sorry for going of on one earlier on, but when one pays good hard earned money for a program one expects it to work.
 
I downloaded the trial version of VDJ 6.08 and the New Year Version. I tried to text GP ASK VIRTUALDJ to 23333 but keep getting the texts returned. Is their another way to get the code that it is mentioning on the website?
 
Here's a little bug i just found in the new version. I noticed that the unload deck function no longer works. I assigned it to the numbers 1 for deck one and 3 for deck 2. Checked the keyboard mapper and it still shows it to be their but when you press the button nothing happens. Yes I tried reassigning it but still no response. When using the NS7 controller it causes the crossfader to move back just a notch everytime I hit the number 3 to try and unload the deck.

Works here just fine -

Keyboard key 1 VDJScript => deck 1 unload
Keyboard key 3 VDJScript => deck 2 unload
