Well, if Windows Media Player crashes too, then obviously it's not a problem related to virtualdj but rather to your codecs.
Try to use a tool like graphedit or gspot to find the faulty codec, and unregister it or set it to a very low merit

Thanks for the post man - I was on ethe same page as you. I used gspot and figured out it was a codec issue.

Just out of curiosity, if you drop a vob file or and mpeg svcd file into gspot, what codecs are people systems using? There's sooo many apps out there that install BS codecs that simply DONT need to be there.

Speaking of which....
If you decide on the divx codec, be very carefull.
Along with the free codec comes a free install of GAIN.
A super network of spyware.

So spend the 20 or 30 on the codec, they get you one way or the other, nothing is free.
