Is it possible to mix audio and video in vurtual dj at the same time? If this is possible, I would like some simple visual effect to play during the audio files are playing and when I have a video seamlessly crossfade/mix to the video.

not to sure what you mean, but have you used clipbank or soniques to play when using just audio files, if that is what you are pointing to.

As mentioned when playing audio u can use clip bank (I havent) and sonique visuals which easily mix with video you can also mix the sonique visuals with video to create some great effects

Where can i get the clipbanks or audio visuals from? Also, how do I get it to work within Virtual DJ Pro with my audio files?

go to download tab ^ > plugins > video effects and install both clipbank and soniques, with soniques select the 72 version that has been validated by djcel, hopefully these tutorials i made some time back will help, if not pm me and i'll walk you through them...

remember to have your vids stored where they are accessable for clipbank as they need to be in the same location each time you open up VDJ. need anything for clipbank let me know,

if you didn't quite get my video because of it's age and quality try my printed version... lol
Go into config > choose video tab > go down to the bottom right drop down window and select sonique, to the left make sure you tick the box, come out of config and select effects > select video tab > select sonique > select/click on activate > select open > this is where you go to where you have your sonique folder, now open the folder and double click on a file, this will now run your sonique effects. you can now play with the two sliders for the type of effect you want. slide show delay will give you how long each effect will run for and the transparency will let you fade the soniques over other effects like a video, show logo etc...
N.B If you have the time go through your individual soniques and delete the crappy ones, saves getting them up on the screen
look up the wiki for directions in using video/image files with audio only will help you as well.
