Hi. Just want to know if anyone uses a beat machine. I plan to get one soon and I just wondering if there are any particular ones that are worth looking at and are good investments. I know that I do not want to spend over $1500.

Actually I'm looking for a Sampling Effects Controller not a beat machine. Sorry for the confusion.

I just sold mine on e-bay but if you can get a hold of a Zoom St224 sampler I'd highly recomend it. sample on the fly and it has some excellent built in effects, pitch wheel etc. 3 banks of 8 pads that can all sync to whatever pad you select as the master. They're reasonably cheap too. Mines sold for £80 i think.
