I need DJ's opinions on whether to combine my MP3's and MP4 Videos on to one hard drive or keep them on two separate external hard drives. What would be better and why? I have one 500GB WD Passport and 1 OWC 1TB Firewire 400 Hard drive. Thanks for the input!

I've performed with both scenarios and haven't noticed any difference in perfomance.

You shouldn't experience a difference as long as the speeds are the same. Originally I had them both on the same drive but since my vid collection is getting large, I've separated them for organizational purposes only.
