Topic: Question regarding scratching and mixing

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have purchased Herclues e2 and a new laptop Packard Bell today.
Everythings working fine, although I can't get my headphones to separate into headphone A and headphone B when trying to cue a song? Am I doing something wrong?

My main question is this: When I want to drop a snare from a new song into say a song that is already playing via a baby scartch, I do this put there seems to be a delay, in fact I don't really know what it is, but I drop the snare via a scratch, and unlike real vinyl, the the audio starts about a second or less later, but obviously this puts me off time....

Am I making sense?

I'm presuming this is classed as a timecoding issue?
Basically there's a time delay when trying to mix, drop a beat and scratch.
All help is appreciated
