I have ripped about 150 DVD music videos using DVD decrypter and almost all work flawlessly. I have 2 DVDs that I know of right now that play video fine but the audio is all static out of one channel and garbled/slow motion out of the other. Any ideas?

I would make sure you are using all the latest version of your software and tools and rip again. Possibly try a slow rip speed. Good luck.

Hi
Dvd Decrypter though I feel is one of the very best rippers has not been supported and updated for many years, you may find the two DVDs with bad sound could be a form of protection that DVD decrypter is not be able to deal with.
I would download some other makes of Trial DVD Rippers to see if they can ripp with more success.
Good Luck
regards

I've ran into this issue several times when trying to rip consumer DVD's like one might buy at a variety store. The problem seems to be some of the un-common audio codex's being used by some of the studios. (Especially older DVD's)
I've tried a variety of rippers on these type DVD's and the results were always the same. (Poor Audio) In these cases the only solution I've found is replace the soundtrack entirely with a good quality Mp3/.wav

I had the same problem with the whole collection of 20th Century Masters and a few other comercial store DVDs. What I did was ripped them with decrypter/shrink and then I used Nero Recode to make them MP4. While I only heard noise on VDJ with the .vob, after using Nero the same file recoded sounds great with no loss of qualty in sound or video in VDJ.
Hope it helps.
