"warmed up the playlist"??? I'm not exactly sure what you mean? Be more specific please.

if you mean after loading a play list how to start it, double click any track in your playlist and it will commence from that track. answers to this and your other post are quite easily found in the manual and on the wiki.

I mean practised mixing the songs, once I have played the song it is tagged as haven been played so I can not start from that point in the playlist.
Also it is really annoying that I am not allowed to add silence to a playlist, what about when I am recording a show it is a bit shocking these two little things.

All you have to do is reload the playlist in the playlist pane. If you don't like the "already played x" on the track delete the history and its gone. As far as silence goes just don't hit play.

With silence I am recording the set, and I am having a pre-determined set period of silence, hence the .wav of silence it should be my choice not the softwares, there must be a way to disengage that skill!!

Just position your cursor over the playing "Deck Vinyl iCon" and hold down the left mouse key to stop and your problems will go away or lower the Volume on the controller

If you are in AutoMix PlayList panel then the list will just play over again from top to bottom, right click on the (+) icon and choose "Repeat", if you need a track down the list then just double click it or reposition it to the top of the list.

You can set cue points on all tracks individually and it will start at that point, as for a starting track you can drag it to the top of the list bouble click and done..it'll also start from that point anywhere on the list and continue down.

I've experienced a similar thing... lets say i have constructed a playlist (ready to play in the club). If i decide to play a few ov the tracks at home as a warm up then when i open the set playlist its all mucked up... the order has changed considerably.
The only thing i can do is note down the running order ov tracks on a scrap o paper and select them from the mucked up playlist individually to play them. However when i get back home afterwards the playlist is back in the right order!!! very confusing and a bit annoying. Thank god for little bits ov paper!!!
Still it keeps me on my toes...

Just save list as a PlayList, give it a name it will save in that order you want and won't change, then load it into AutoMix panel, bouble click the top song to play or short cut (Ctrl Spacebar) and it will automatically start on the top song in AutoMix.
