Howdy fellas. I need some help getting this ringing noise out of my music. I'll start with my setup.
2 Numark turntables
1 behringer mixer
1 maya 44 sound card
1 behringer UCA202 sound card
1 HP Laptop w/ Windows Vista
Virtual DJ 5.2
Now the problem i think lies with the sound cards. My turntables and mixer is hooked to the maya 44 soundcard and this is what i use for the timecoded setup. My other sound card (the UCA202) i only use when i record a mix. (It is hooked up to my mixer via the tape output). When i play any mix with the UCA202 soundcard plugged in there is a ringing tone int he background. You can hear in master output playing in the speakers, you can hear in the headphones and in the recording. Whenever i take the uca202 out and just use the maya 44 sound card there is no tone. I've tried everything i could think of. I could really use some suggestions.

Hello,
Can you make sure both Maya and UCA202 operate at the same sample rate?
If Maya 44 plays & records at 44.1KHz while UCA202 records at 48KHz, it may cause the noise you hear.
