Cheap speakers. You could use them for very small gigs.

these are my first set of "proper" speaker. i thought them to be lower end but for the price i think i got a good deal. £11.49 the pair
these are actually to put in my bedroom for now untill i find some more bargains and build up my equipment as best i can with the budget i have. which is well erm,,, none existant really.
my mate is donating me a marshall slave amp to power them which i think will be great for now. ive been trying to get some other bits and pieces like lighting and cables etc on freecycle, ebay and craigs list but its proving rather difficult to catch things sometimes.
im not in no rush though so i dont mind waiting for a good deal even if sometimes its lower end stuff. like the soundlab TT's i got for £15 the pair. :D those were a wikid deal. low end TT's but they came with ortofon concorde carts and styli so i got a bonus.
this time low end speakers and then my mate offered me tha amp to power them.

they arent good had a pair years ago they didnt stand up to the punishment but you got them at a steal of a deal.

when you say diddnt stand up to the punishment, do you mean if you were using them professionally. for gigs? these will be used in my bedroom for a good while. i need to get into the swing of things before gigging. ive always been a bedroom dj and ive djayed a few house party's, but thats it.
as youve had a pair, do you think theyre ok for what i plan to use them for?

They used to be quite popular in the UK about 10 years ago because they were cheap, I remember been impressed by them for the price.
