Topic: Tweaking Vinyl Timecode Signal with Hercules MK2 as Soundcard

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi guys,

I'm running two numark tt200's with serato cv02 timecoded vinyls. I'm using my Mk2 as a soundcard with Macbook 4gb ram.

However, I'm running into a slight problem... There's significant pitch drifting on the tracks that I play through vdj. I checked my timecode config option and my timecode circles are red and slightly elliptical (even though it says timecode 100%). I was wondering... How do I modify the timecode signal through the mk2 in order to get a perfectly circular timecode signal? Maybe something like the knobs on the serato box?

And also, are there any soundcard latency settings that I could change for better performance?

Thanks in advance!
