Pressing Effects=Video Effects=Karaoke gives me error message "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_33.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem"
First time after all these years want to use karaoke - never tried before so help me with starting it first. I have Cue 6.0.7 - window xp sp3 on one computer and VDJ 6.0.7 - window vista 64 bits on the other laptop. Everything else works nice on both the computers
Thanks and by the way I did a search for any post with similiar problem but failed to find any.

you need to install directx 9, you may also need to install c++ 2008 installing those two will get you up and running.

You don't really need this to do karaoke. The karaoke-effect only gives you the opportunity to announce your (next) singer on screen. If you don't need the "screenpollution" and call the next singer yourself, you can run a perfect show without the effect.
