Topic: NOISE! Noise from RMX mixer when plugged into amp

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Help! For the first time I have removed my Numark and plugged in the RMX to my amp and I'm getting what sounds like
digital communication signal bleeding across the speakers.

I have trued all I can and I'm about to chuck this thing out the window. Any help would be great.

Try unplugging your laptop. If the sound stops, you've got a ground loop issue. Get one of those little adapters that takes a 3-prong power plug and makes it a 2-prong.
 
Brother I thank you. Every item on my system is grounded. I pulled the 3rd pole off the power supply and its gone.
