Is there a tool or setting to stop the mouse pointer from straying onto the extended desktop?

I know with my laptop I can turn off the mouse. Its an Asus G1S. Maybe you have a setting some where?

I don't want to shut it off completely...just don't ever want to see it on the screen that is broadcasting. Does such a tool exist? Or does anybody know how to go about making one?

Not sure if this will help your issue, but I have a lot less issues since I started using a trackball as opposed to a mouse or touchpad.! Once you go track, you won't go back!

Is it possible for your trackball to venture onto the extended desktop while you are performing or is there an option that restricts it to one screen?
My laser is just fine but if it is possible to keep the cursor off the extended desktop completely that would just be awesome.
I use the mouse especially when searching my karaoke archive. I want to keep using it...but only want it on the interface and not ever on the broadcast.
