check you latency settings on VDj also you might wanna close all programs running in the background..... what operatin system do you have?

window xp pro edition.2 gig ram dual core 2 ghz each. pretty much a new laptop.

There is always going to be a little delay when scratching on the RMX from my experience. If you practice enough with it though its virtually unnoticeable. Some things I would recommend which are personal preference for me on the RMX is set your Jog Sensitivity to about 150-200% and set your crossfader to "scratch". Check out this video of this guy scratching with the RMX, its the best RMX scratch Video I've seen!

is that setting 4 the fader in config. I use timecode vinyl

Oops, my mistake. Have you tried adjusting the Latency (Ms) of the Asio config in the hercules control panel? The lower the number the more responsive your scratching, however if you lower it too much you will get distortion in sound. I think 10ms is standard. Also if you have not done so already try disabling "clear sound" in the VDJ timecode config menu. Hope this helps, I'm using hercules and timecode too by the way, I think I'm going to get the hercules Trim or the VDJ soundcard though. THe RMX Asio just isn't really that spectacular.

i think your rite. i did have to go through configs and now the time code for each deck is at 100%. That made it a lil better but there is still a simple delay. maybe i do have to get used to the RMX mixer. im used to the regular scratch mixer but ill let you kno what happens from here. thanks for your help
