Hi,
I am having trouble finding video mixing skins for 1440x900 res. I really like the virtual pro 6 but the res is not quite right for me. Does anyone know if there are some video skins at the res I need

there are quite a few in the skins section, just depends what you want to do really, check out dj touchdans black sheep, i just love that one.

Hi Tayla,
I agree the skin is very good, I like the size of the font on the pro 6 version skin over the black sheep one. Apart from that, I think its fantastic

You can easily change the font and it's size by editing the skin XML. You just need to use notepad and "replace" the text string with the new font name or size. Piece of cake!

If you unzip the skin file. Then open the .xml file within (use notepad or similar)
Near the top of the file you will find this section:

shadowcolor="#606060"

Just change the highlighted section to a size that suits you better - glad you like the skin though.

thanks to this thread i finally got that problem solved,Had Resized A skin but when I did the Browser fonts "SHRUNK" also !! needless to say all titles were in MICRO SIZE ! Thanks guys ! You got me to overcome my XMLphobia !...TouchDan...U ROCK !!

Try my MultiFunctions skin. It's based on VDJ 6 PRO (with a lot more features) and is video mixing compatible :)

How can you change the colour that a skin uses? For example, if I want to change the colour of the two beat keepers at the top of the skin, how would you do it?

All colors are defined by parts of the skin BMP file.
Except for the text colors that are defined in the XML.

it all depends on the skin your using, but if you go and find the section that says browser your there, you can rename it by replacing the colour code with your own choice or simply replacing the colour code with red, blue , white or whatever.
