This is the skin I use and Love, http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/4369/Vinyl_Scratch_variations.html, but my question is, Why isn't there a day time version yet?? Now that I think about it there seems to be a lack of daytime skins, lol. I would pay some one to turn this into a daytime skin, any takers?? Other then that fellas keep up the great work!!

Hello,
You can turn any dark skin into a daytime skin with the Skin Resizer tool:

Follow these steps to get a daytime skin:
1. Unzip the Skin package
2. In the Skin Resizer, open the XML of the Skin
3. In output width and height, select the same as in input width and height
4. In the "Resizing" view, select "Simple Resize"
5. In the "Options" view, activate: "make day skin"
6. In the "Generating" view, click on "do the job".
7. Open VirtualDJ and select the new Skin !!!

ok I have made the donation so I can get a legit copy but I got nothing?? I'm not tech savy AT ALL, so how do I open the XML of the skin? Also it wont let me check the box that says "Make day skin"? I assume I need the key which is why I donated and nothing happened.........
OK took some trail and error but I got it!! Wow, if I knew it was that easy I could of did this last year!!

all you need to do is put the image into paint or similar programme and invert the picture, simple method and works well for a lot of skins.

I'm also tring to create a Daytime (OutDoor Use) skin CUE RMX by cioce (1440x900).
I Do have a License version of the Skin Resizer, and Followed all the STEPS of:
1. Unzip the Skin package
2. In the Skin Resizer, open the XML of the Skin
3. In output width and height, select the same as in input width and height
4. In the "Resizing" view, select "Simple Resize"
5. In the "Options" view, activate: "make day skin"
6. In the "Generating" view, click on "do the job".
7. Open VirtualDJ and select the new Skin !!!
BUT I'M NOT ABLE TO SEE THE NEW SKIN (step #7)
The New Skin was created (Both the XML & BMP fles), and placed in the skin folder.
I saw somewhere else, it said to ZIPPED the two file (XML & BMP), and UNZIP it again. BUT STILL NO SKIN Virtual DJ.
And YES I have Closed and REOPENED Virtual DJ (Even REBOOTED), But still no new skin displayed for me to SELECT.
Can someone STRAIGHTEN me Out

You have find where you put it. In step 3 what did you name it and where did you put it. Also after step 6 did you "Preveiw the Job"? It will open the folder that cotains the skin. As far as ZIPPING the files back up I've never had to do that. If you still cant do it or find I'll be here for a while, lol. Shot me a PM with your email and Ill do it for you.
