I buy Virtual Vinyl and am having issues with it so i update to version 6.0.3, and I start having even MORE issues with it. On a lark I download the trial version of VDJ and everything works great!
So why do these two programs work so differently and why do I have to pay another 50.00 to switch to VDJ? I paid 550.00 for the freaking software already.
At this point since i got the box I'm ready to go download a cracked version.

So how about instead of complaining that you have "issues" you actually try and help yourself by posting up about those issues?
As for the Numark/VDJ thing, seems to be a popular theme today. From another thread I posted in earlier:
The crossgrade is there for people who aren't willing to wait for Numarks updates. No-one is forcing you to pay it, you can do what others do and wait for Numark to OK an update.
The trial version of VDJ is 6.0.6 which is essentially 6.0.5. As for using a cracked version, well thats just stupid I'm afraid. Cracked versions can have all sorts of side effects - including disabling legitimate versions from working at all.

The upshot is that you have bought a Numark branded version of the product. Numark test and release the versions you use, not Atomix. Therefore it is Numark you should be speaking to as they authorise the releases. Atomix can't really release someone else's product without their say-so can they?

Thats the way the copy protection works..
But if you had issues with 6.0.3, then installed the 6.0.6 Trial, why dont you try removing BOTH, and install 6.0.5, and let us help you iron out any issuses :)
We're here on the forum to help out when we can :)

the two softwares are pretty much identical... and in practical terms identical.
If you had better performance, with the VDJ demo, its probably because its version 6.05, while Virtual Vinyl you stated as 6.03.
There has been significant improvements in 6.05 regarding use of timecode.
Please be patient, while Numark finds time ready to release v. 6.05 as well.
(or you can change to VDJ for the 50 buck, if you dont want to wait for the Numark approval process, and rather use VDJ )

The wait is unbearable. I paid about the samething for my VV(550.00). Ive have asked around way too much. Same craptacular answer. I am a working DJ. I paid the xtra 50. I am happy now. Water under the bridge.
@Dalamar, I overstand ur issue. It is really F'ed up, but it think that if u go ahead and bust that 50 you will make it back qwik. Please dont let this issue stop the show. I was there. Now im pass this physically. Mentally, I want to blow a F-ing gasket. Overall im good. If you find a solution, let me know. I really think that Numark is swaying away from us. I say us because Im a deticated VDJ user. Anyway, take a look at the new line-up. Mostly every new piece of gear has the name SERATO or TRAKTOR. Um jus saying..............................

Well I can understand now why people are going to Serato so much after this. Bad customer service all the way around on this deal.

Hey Guy,
You have bought a Numark product, maybe you should complain to them instead of us.
We provide them with the releases when we test and release.
What they do beyond that is their business.
And if you want to post that a crack suits you, that's your business.
The fact that we offer an option is a gift, not an obligation.
You made the decision to purchase, we did not.
We've NEVER had anyone complain about the crossgrade option.
I can tell you that there are many PCVJ users what would JUMP at the option if we could offer it and wouldn't complain.
What you decide to do is your option, but remember it says Numark on it.
