Topic: Help on ripping software

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have been serching on the forum & on the internet & I have yet to see a good ripping software out there. Here is what I'm looking for in a software.
1-automatically tag the correct way so virtual see it
2-be able to save that file in any type of audio file
3-be able to put in the cd be connected on the internet & be able to hit convert & done
So I can use some great advice if anyone knows of a goood ripping software out ther????????????? THANKS

edit settings on windows mediaplayer in XP, works everytime i rip 320 mp3 format
as for win7 the settings are buried more
 

On Mac I'm using iTunes with the LAME-encoder plug-in. Back in the day when I was still using Windows, I used CDex.
 

Itunes works fine on Mac and Windows. You can set it to MP3 320kbps.

Once you name the tracks correctly VDJ will import all the info in to the database.
