Topic: MIDI CONTROLLER FOR EFFECTS ONLY?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello All I will be running a timcoded setup for VDJ6 along with a a two channel mixer. I wanted to know if their is a small midi controller or mixer with midi cotrols available so I can control effects off VDJ, instead of buying or paying more for a mixer with its own effects or clicking effects inside VDJ6 with the mouse key. I'm open for all idea's but for the most part I want to take advantage of the effects instead of the program purchasing equipment that will not be needed.

+1 on the nano pad
haven't seen the akai in action, but i like that it includes knobs for parameters...even though i don't change the parameters live. I mostly use the nano for cues, stuttering samples in and activating effects and activating loops.
I did have a little bit of a problem initially setting up the nano pad, but now works every time no prob

Plus the nano has more buttons for triggering. I like that VDJ's sample bank matches the twelve buttons on the nano.

how do I get my Korg nanopad to work with the sample board in virtual dJ? tnx in advance :)

i am having trouble setting up my lpd8 can any one help me??

I'm also looking for the same thing, I'm getting a VCI-300 but I want something to control the effects as well (I know that there's the VFX-1 that's pretty much the effects controller that should have been in the VCI-300 from the start but at $250, it looks like a waste of money).

I've been looking on the net and some people recommend the M-Audio Trigger Finger, anybody know much about it? Or anything else that could work?

Thanks

what bout the rmx?
