Topic: Is vista ok to run for VDJ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm trying 7 today, but can backtrack to either vista or xp. The lappy came with vista. Is vista safe, either 32 or 64?

XP, Vista and 7 all work well in 32-Bit. Theer are some 64-Bit issues, mainly to do with video though.

As with all OS upgrades though, make sure you have checked driver compatibility before tearing down the machine...

Cheers,

Roy

I have Vista 64-bit on my HP laptop, and it runs Virtual DJ flawlessly (audio and video mixing with a Denon HC-4500).

I Have V-64 Work Very Well,But Sometime I Have Video Isues But There Working On That.So Yes Go For

vista 32 bit here no probs

vista 32 bit here too.. running fine

same here,even on a crappy computer :)

VDJ works flawlessly (more or less) with mt two machines (one vista 32 and one Xp).....Vista as an OS just plain sucks....so if you have a choice drop back to xp or use windows 7 32 bit.

Windows 7 as an OS rocks, unfortuanatley mine is 64 bit so I can't use it with VDJ cause I get the video freezing problem, but for every other program on the planet (at least my little chunk of the planet) windows 7 absolutely rocks.

home pre 64 bit working great

Wow... I am running Windows 7 64bit and i am on my second gig so far no video freezing.

Is the video freezing issue really constant?
