Topic: Playing video files

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I tried to use the new video player and it starts ok but crashes VDJ right after a few seconds. I have a fast system with more than enough memory. I copied one of my Laser Karaoke song to test the new feature. It is going to need a little work to function properly.

I already did. The video starts to play but VDJ crashes right after it starts. My system is way more than is required.

edit Vdj has problems right now playing mpeg2 files. Try mpeg-1 and report back.

Well MPEG 1 files play just fine but I need MPEG 2 to work . My capture card has a hardware MPEG 2 decoder so I will have to wait for the fix.I want to copy my Laser Karoke discs to my computer. I has access to the whole catalog of discs. They have been used alot and dont have much time left on them and we need to save them from the garbage can.
