By the way Seana, I have a firmly held belief that I will share here. The only dumb question is the one you don't ask. If something is unclear, that is the purpose of this forum. So ask away....

oh thats nice ov you to say that. i was sort ov feeling that i seemed to be the only one asking these basic sort ov questions.

Well thanx again.

What! No one said "It loads the f-word into your sampler and it plays it over and over in a never ending loop"

Simply put it brings all the files no matter how many sub folder to the top level. It also makes Mac users jealous.

Hi - I have the same question. The link above is no longer available. Is there somewhere else I can find the information? Thanks!

The link still works ... but just to save hassle of looking at it ...

"Recurse is a computer term that means not only look in the current folder, but also the sub-folders with in. Here is a definition ...

"Refers to including subdirectories in the operation. For example, if a Recurse Subdirectories option is available in a search, the contents of all subdirectories (subfolders) will be searched along with the primary subdirectory."

So, when you recurse a folder in the Folder panel ... the Tracks browser show all of that folders contents PLUS the contents from the sub-folders within that folder."
