I have the version that came with the hercules Dj Controller.
My question is ...
Is there any way to change the sound card settings to the sound card that is in the computer
so that i dont have to hook the controller up to an external stero to hear it.
1 of the other programs that came with the hercules , you can switch the sound card settings
and then all of the sound comes through the computer, but after a while searching for a way to do it
in the virtual dj program i just cant find a way to do it.
Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks

Go into the VDJ Config, click on the Sound Card tab, scroll up to the first graphic and select it.
In the drop down list just to the right of the picture, make sure it is selected for the PCs sound card, then click OK.

im not at my computer but will check it out in about an hour or two.
but the one problem i was having is that i CANT locate the Vjd config........
where is it????????

If you are using the default skin then it is in the top right corner of the skin.
If you have changed skins then look for a graphic that resembles a sprocket OR a button with the word "Config" on it and when you hover over it it should pop a tag that says "Config".
If you don't see those then some of the skin builders used the word "SET" to represent the config.
Hope you find it.

changed the skin, then found the "set" button.
still no sound card tab on there.
it has.......General, Fame settings, Plugins, Skin, Keyboard Shortcuts, Remote Control, Infos.
Those are all of the tabs that it has....
Maybe they didnt put the option to change the soundcard in the version that came with the hercules dj console ?

That might be true, I'm not a console user so the sound choices may be limited. From reading through the forums, I know the version that shipped with the Herc console is different then the Pro version. If you can afford it, I would recommend upgrading to the Pro (2.1) version. You would gain alot of flexibility.

can confirm Hercules bundle version has no such option, and without console it even won't run.
