Topic: does it work??

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

OK before I run out and by a Mac I want to know if the soundcard that comes with Numarks Virtual Vinyl (http://www.numark.com/virtualvinyl) will work with a Macbook?? I thought I read some where in the forums that it didn't.........I have done a search but nothing comes up.

Yes Dizzy you are right, the program it self will work but as for the soundcard that comes with the program it does not because there are no drivers for a Mac. I'm not sure if it will work with a bootcamped Mac either but doesnt that defeat the purpose of even buyin a Mac? If this has been changed let me know, thanks..
 
The Virtual Vinyl sound card works with a Mac, I've been using it for 2 and half years.
 
It does work the software with the sound card. I have also been using it for a good 2 years now.

Does it work the new mac snow leopard?? Does the driver install witht he new virtual viinyl 6 update? or is it simple as plug and play?

Yes, it works with Snow Leopard, and it is plug and play, no need to download any drivers, just make sure the soundcard is plugged in before you open VDJ.
