Please help!

I have many m3u playlists, some made with Windows Media Player, some with Winamp, and while Virtual DJ 2.1 recognises them, and lists their contents, it won't play or load any files contained within them.

This is a major problem as it is how I sort my tunes out and I have tired everything Ican think of to sort it out.

Any help appreciated.

Did you build the m3u playlists on the machine where you use VDJ?

Better yet, when you open the m3u playlist in VDJ, are the files in the same drive location and path location as when the playlists were built?

My point that the each playlist entry has a drive letter ( D: ) with path location ( \hip-hop\2000\ ) to the file. If you use the playlist in another application and the file location is different then you get the result you have been experiencing, because VDJ can't find the file.

The problem seems to be that the playlist file has to be in VDJ's 'playlist' folder and not anywhere else on the computer.

Thanks for you help :)
