A friend of mine purchased a used virtual vinyl package off Craigslist. It came with the software, timecoded CDs and Vinyls as well as the USB interface from numark. They tried to register the software here but when doing so they get an error message stating that serial number has already been registered :-(
How can they sort this out so they can become a member of this community now? Also they don't have the person's contact information anymore so if that information is needed to "transfer" the registration.. there may be a problem.

The license is NOT transferable. Unfortunately the software they purchased will have to be used "as is". They will also not be able to become an accredited member of the forum.
That doesn't mean they can't post or get help though ;)

Just a though if they want updates they can get them direct from Numark.com or if they really want to be a pro user on here they could possibly use the "crossgrade" although i will always try to help any one using one of our products :-)

if they can't register on to the site with the serial, I dont think they can take advantage of the 'crossgrade'..
