So I play my daily virtual DJ songs.. and then I pop a CD into my CD drive.. and not only am I able to manipulate those songs, but I am able to convert them to MP3 right off the software! ITS SO CONVENIENT because now I don't have to go to windows media player anymore!!
THANKS VDJ!!

Wow.. you DO learn new things everyday!
At first I thought it would only save as .wav, but when I continued it did save as an mp3!..
192kbps .. good enough..
theirs been a couple times now I used windows media player to rip a single song and had to flip between programs..
I realize its not a 'big deal' but its once of those little features that is much appreciated!
thanks for bringing this too my attention!!

Now you know why I like CD-TEXT and freedb feature request.

The rare times I do need to 'rip' from a CD, its almost always just a single song, and many times its from a CDR.. and I don't have internet connection.
So for me CD text would be ok.. but "freedb" would rarely be used....
NOT SAYING ITS A BAD IDEA :-)
just sayin that adding the ability to rip a song to mp3 probably didnt take a lot of extra code to be written..(since VDJ already had CD access)
whereas adding freedb access would take some major software adds and rewrites..

I think it uses settings in your recording configuration. I have mine set to 256kbps - and that is what I got.
But very cool if I don't need what EAC has to offer.
