Topic: Vinyl Control Help With Numark Stealth Mixer

Hi I am relatively new to using the dj system but I have run into a problem with the virtual scratching on my system. When I first started out using the system it simply made the traditional scratching noise when I touched the jog wheels. But somehow I must have hit something and its now only pitch bends the songs. I searched through the configuration and nothing is jumping out at me. I looked through the manual and nothing has been helping me out.. A little help please?? Thanks in advance

When the track is stopped the jog wheel scratches, but when the track is playing it pitch bends.

You could scratch a track while playing on the Numark Total Control, but the tracks would skip too easily if you left the function on, so they changed it on the Stealth and Omni controllers.
 
What version you're using?
Check from the Config/Options and you can toggle the Jog mode between Vinyl and CD.
Or you can make a keyboard shortcut from the mapper section to toggle between the two jog modes in a specific deck.
Example: (Z) deck 1 vinyl_mode
(X) deck 2 vinyl_mode
 
I have version 5.2 I can see that its possible that pitch bend is only available is the off position, but I could scratch in the beginning and now its all of a sudden changed to strictly pitch bend. When I go into config then option there is nothing that says outright vinyl control or anything I can list all the options however and see if you guys would know if its some coded language I am not getting.
 
Please upgrade to the latest v6.0.5 Pro or v6.0.6 trial and you will see the option to toggle between CD and Vinyl mode in CONFIG -> Options.

If the controller has a SCRATCH or VINYL button, this can also be used to toggle in VDJ v6.

NOTE: v5.2 does not have native support for the Stealth Control, so if you are using General MIDI, you will not be getting the full features of this controller - In particular button LED's will not work. The latest VirtualDJ v6.0.5 Pro has full support the the Stealth Control with working button LED's.

Funny the more i look around this forums the more i find things that happened to me ( I havent even mentioned some to the other guys Cause they gonna think me a "complainer" i see theres issues with the software mostly cause vdj has so many things you can set or change, (it gets complex!) but I got 6.0.5 and things started acting up (yes..I loaded the Hercules Drivers Again!) anyways..3 days ago it started to NOT SCRATCH on the Right Jag wheel at random and noticed that if i went to configurations and reselect Vinyl over cd/vinyl it would work again until I loaded a new song on that "table" then it would do it again.but after i closed Vdj and had fixed another problem (sonique crashing the system,needed the new sonique files ) it quit doing that...(?!) hummm..
