Word on the street is there are list out there that tells you what song is best to mix with another song . Any truth to this and if so hook a brother up !

ya i guess so . Not sure , im used to doing it oldschool . I guess it would prevent someone from making a bad mix from one song till the next ?

I guess the "word on the street" refers to something nifty called "harmonic mixing".

I think you might be referring to the MusicGroups feature. This feature is available in the Pro version only.
You must first subscribe to music groups (http://www.virtualdj.com/musicgroup/index.html)
Next make sure you have entered your VDJ login details on the internet tab in config and selected the MusicGroups checkbox.
Then when you play a track a recommendation for the next song will appear just above the sidelist.
This recommendation is based on other MusicGroup users and what they played after the track your playing...

Could it be the "compatible songs" folder? once you start playing a song, browse that folder and it will show you a list of songs which could go well with the current song.

what song is best to mix with the next? any song that keeps em dancing or entertained so they stay in the building.
and the only way to learn that is to learn how to read a crowd, and let me tell ya, that takes time. crowds change, music popularity changes, a crowd's mood can change in the space of a heartbeat if they don't like whats going on.
