I was checking out musicians friend yesterday and saw that they had the FS open interface on sale and I thought of buying it. But my question is, is it up to par with with the newer interfaces eg. SL3, Audio 8/4 and others. Its specs seem pretty good compared to the SL3, but idk about the NI interfaces. Does anybody use this or had experience with it. O, and I have a SL1 right now. Thanks in advance.

99.99% of the public couldn't tell the dif between your SL1 box or the SL3 box in sound quality. just some food for thought. spend that $550ish on a new midi mixer like a korg zero4 than you have a mixer, midi and sound card in one! thats what i did. love the mixer and sound quality.

Thats not what i'm asking. I'm looking at the FS Open soundcard thats on sale and wanted to know how it performed.
