hey was wondering what i need to do within vdj to setup a shorcut on my keyboard to be able to move the squares around below the wave lengths on vdj

You can use adjust_cbg either mapped to the keyboard or a MIDI controller knob.

adjust_cbg : adjust the beat grid. 'adjust_cbg +2' moves the start bar from 4:4. 'adjust_cbg +10%' moves the actual bars.
