Topic: PLEASE HELP...making a CD

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

ok, i am looking to record my mixes on virtual dj, so that i can burn them on a cd and listen to them at home, or in my car etc...
I am hoping that i can go track to track, and no pauses inbetween..I dont have a burning program now, so whats my best option to go..Like i said i need to go track to track, and i need it in WAV format not MP3.
Please let me know how to setup on Virtual DJ, and what burning program will allow me 2 have no spaces in between tracks etc when i burn cd..
cheers

You can do that with VirtualDJ itself, just go into record, press the Burn CD button and set it up to your liking. And when you want a new track just press the split button.

Actually I do apologize, I tried it just now just for fun and that does not seem to be working. But, you should be able to burn the .bin file VDJ creates with a software such as imgburn (http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download) just fine.

Merry Christmas.

VirtualDJ cannot burn CD's itself - It creates BIN/CUE files for use with any suitable CD recording software that supports this format.

Open Virtual dj click on the record tab click on config check split into multiple check wav click ok and start recording i use nero burning software to burn cds and dvd the nero express gives you the option to burn without any pause so you have one straight mix with the option to skip tracks if you like
