If you are going to use the Decks with software, Just get the CDJ 900. The CDJ 900 and the 2000 make a difference when you are using them with just CD's.
 
Im using cdj-900 with virtual dj, why my slip mode doesnt work when im on Pc mode? Please help me to fix this...
 
Hi,

I'm trying to configure my CDJ900's with VDJ Pro 7 as MIDI controllers but am having a real problem.
I've played around with all the sound settings trying every which way but to no avail.

The problem I have, is both CDJs play on one channel and not their own.
So instead of CDJ 1 playing on channel 1 (deck A) and CDJ 2 on channel 2 (Deck B),
BOTH are playing on ONE channel.

(I'm also encountering the exact same problem when using MixVibes (sorry for mentioning that here)).

It works fine with Trakor, speaking of which, Traktor asks on startup to turn encoder (CDJ knob) for corresponding deck.
So CDJ 1 = deck A, CDJ 2 = deck 2.

I'm using Win7.
