well todays the day, factories and building sites etc breaking up for the holidays and if you are a regular dj at this time of the year in the UK you just know the mayhem that is going to happen... enjoy, have fun and be safe.

Its called "Mad Friday" here im my town.

and to add the madness, im attending a party from 2pm.. then off to a Karaoke Gig later at 8pm!!

Good building sites and good factory's are breaking up! I remember always having to break up on the 23rd..
 
Always interesting to hear about different customs from other countries.
 
hahaha, like everything else it's the minority that spoils it, so for the inexperienced dj doing a gig today better to be fore warned. i start at 6pm and thats when things begin to change usually.

"Mad Friday" here in Yorkshire too. Apparantly there's around 100 in the pub where I do my regular Friday night, and They've been in there drinking since 1pm. I've just got in from my day job and I leave to go DJ in approx 30 min. I'm DJing till 12.30 and I'm sure it's going to start off messy and get worse... but, they have put 1, yes 1, doorman on for tonight, starting at 9pm.
On the brighter side, the sexy young ladies will still be wearing their little short santa's skirts etc. It might be snowing outside, but it'll be hotting up inside!
 
1 doorman, the poor sod.
 
One! Bugger, I have 5 every Friday night! 4 on a Sunday, but, then.........
 
just back in a few minutes ago, don't know about you guys but this has to be the quietest night i have ever experienced, numbers are down a little on previous years but down in the amount of usual over the top drunks wanting to hit any wall that looks at them the wrong way, glad to see the girls kept up the yearly tradition though... lol.
 
+1 Same here, numbers down a little, but, no bother.......... and the Santa outfits :-)
