hi guys
i'm looking for a bit tech support with regards to external sound.
i've been able to configure my laptop to play with both speakers and headphones as per the config setup. the laptop uses it's realtek soundcard for external sound and the headphones go through external soundcard - sorted.
however, when i try to plug my speakers into the internal soundcard the computer doesn't see to recognise that they are plugged in, and the sound continues to play through the laptops internal speakers so obviously sounds terrible.
has anyone come across this before and is it solvable?
