is there a way when doing karaoke to just play song without having to go to effects and disable clibank as i use it during singer breaks maybe a shortcut on rmx thanks guys

What do you want to do?
 
i would like to use my clibank between singers and not to have to go to effects and have to disable cbank before i play karaoke song ie words to screen
 
you can name the effect as a keyboard shortcut

And just press a key on keyboard or midi controller to toggle between clipbank and karaoke

The action would be :
video_fx_select "ClipBank" & video_fx (turns on/off ClipBank) -> map this to a key / midi note

video_fx_select "Karaoke" & video_fx (turns on/off Karaoke) -> map this to a key / midi note

Edit : seems to lag a little.. because of the load time of clipbank - so maybe use 3 shortcuts :

video_fx_select "ClipBank" (Selects ClipBank) -> map this to a key / midi note

video_fx_select "Karaoke" (Selects Karaoke) -> map this to a key / midi note

video_fx (activates selected) -> map this to a key / midi note
 
sorry greg, been busy, there are one or two skins that can be activated without going into effects that you can use if i can remember rightly.

but norways fix is just as good if you use your keyboard as a short cut.

or you can play audio only files in between and set clipbank to play when audio only is used is another option.
 
normally i do tayla but would like screen to have clipbank on it stay in the mood lol with your dancing monkeys or poledancer.so because its busy when doing both just looking for easy option to switch when karaoke mp3 finished
