Hi All,
Here's my current set up. I have 2 studio monitors connected to Channels 1 and 2 at the back of my Audio Kontrol 1. I use Hercules RMX for Djing...and that device is connected straight to the computer. I have headphones that I use and that is connected into the AUdio Kontrol 1.
This afternoon I bought a subwoofer that I would like to add to my system. So I connected it to the 3rd Channel behind the AK1. But when playing songs from VDJ the subwoofer is treated like the headphones... I here bass when im playing but when i switch over to the next deck, the 2 studio monitors switch songs but the subwoofer connected on Channel 3 is still playing the previous decks' song.
Am I connecting the subwoofer correctly? If not how? and maybe I need to buy something else.
In all what I am trying to do is to get the Subwoofer playing.....example, it is not playing when I use Itunes...
Thanks for your Time!

IM thinking I may need to have the 2 studio speakers split into Channel 1 and have the subwoofer enter channel 2.

Hello sandsmac,
In 2.1 configuration, the subwoofer generally filters the tracks 1+2 , so, as you have no device to filter the tracks 1-2, you should
- duplicate the Kontrol 1 channel 1 with a Y cable as http://www.thomann.de/fr/pro_snake_tpy_2003_rcc.htm or http://www.amazon.com/Monster-127770-00-Single-Female-Y-Adapter/dp/B000WLZSGS/ref=pd_cp_e_1
- connect your left speaker 1 to one of the output of the Y cable
- connect your subwoofer to the other output of the Y cable
- connect the right speaker to the output 2.

Thanks for the advice Made In...
OK so If I did have a device filter, what would the device be?
Also, My Speaker connections are 1/4" and so Is my Subwoofer.... but I take it that the idea is to get a Y-adapter.
